Ever traded city noise for rooster calls? I spent seven days deep in a Hakka commune in Fujian’s misty hills, swapping Wi-Fi for firelight and emails for egg collecting. This isn’t your average agritourism gimmick — this was raw, real, and ridiculously refreshing.

The Hakka people, known as the 'guest families' of China, have preserved their communal lifestyle for centuries.
